Community Garden FAQs
-
Our Community Garden Manager is available to support your journey in learning to grow your own crops! We will kick-off the growing season with a group orientation and potluck. You’ll meet your garden neighbors and create a community that can help you learn tips and tricks along the way!
-
Water and Irrigation: A frost-free yard hydrant will be available near the garden plots, with hoses provided for hand watering.
Tool Kiosk: A small tool kiosk located at the edge of the community garden plots will offer basic gardening tools such as shovels, trowels, rakes, and hoes. Gardeners are welcome to store additional tools at the kiosk. Important garden information, including assigned plots, rules, and contact details, will be posted at the kiosk.

We recommend reserving 3-5 hours a week for tasks like weeding, watering, harvesting, and overall garden maintenance.
Skipping hours one week might mean you have some extra work another week. Members are responsible for keeping weeds under control.
It’s easy to get caught up in a good chat with a neighbor as well!
